My son started Little Foot program when he was 15 months old until 2 1/2yrs old. He was only child at home at the time so starting in a program with other children sparked a new development for him. His social skills begin to develop through classroom interaction and play with other students. During the summer school, students traveled to various learning spaces such as Children Museum, Atlanta Zoo and local playgrounds. The field trip brought about a creative side in Messiah. He was able to see the things that he was learning in school such as animals (lions, tigers) and it created in him his ability to overcome fear of things. It takes more than one time to introduce something new to him so by repeating some of the trips to same places, he became more comfortable with location and actually enjoyed going. He was able to see new things outside of his area that increase his love for outdoors. He is very attentive to small detail and absorbs everything he sees. He is a visual learner. The field trip also provided sense of independency in the ability to go places without parents. He was comfortable with teacher, Ms. Jenny and her teaching/experience of rules and how to behave in public, strengthen his ability to go out more in public places because he knew what to do. Things such as holding hands, walking together provided me as a parent sense of peace when he was out on trips. The program also provided reading time within field trips that still gave him the ability to learn. He loves to read and even has a reading nook at home in his room. I would recommend Little Foot program to any parent who is willing to step outside society normal way of learning and provide their child with a more authentic, natural learning technique that shapes your child individual development that would help them become who they are destined to be. I connected with Mrs. Jenny during a transition period for our family. I had withdrawn my son from the daycare center he was attending and I was homeschooling him. Homeschooling became challenging for me because I was expecting & my little human is extremely active. Mrs. Jenny’s program included a combination of classroom curriculum and community exploration field trips. It was the perfect fit for my son. His social and emotional skills also improved during the time he attended Mrs. Jenny’s program. I wish I would’ve found Mrs. Jenny sooner!

The care that my child receives at Little Foot Explorers is amazing. They definitely live up to the name, going on field trips weekly, exploring new places, and learning the world. I am so happy my child gets to experience this so early on, building on his desire to try new things.
