Frequently Ask Questions:

  • What is Little Foot Explorers?

Little Foot Explorers is an in-home children’s program for ages 30 months to 5 years old. Children learn, explore and connect both indoors and outdoors in an environment that is safe and welcoming for all.

  • How old does my child have to be to register for a session?

We take children that are 30 months to 5 years old. Children do not have to be potty trained, but should be able to walk, practice basic self-soothing techniques, independently feed themselves, and participate in daily activities.

  • My child is not potty trained. Can they still attend?

Yes, our program accepts children that are still in diapers.

  • Are parents allowed to attend sessions?

Our program has a number of goals including teaching children to be self-confident, independent and responsible members of their community. We believe that it is important for parents to attend as it allows the children and parents to bond. Parents can stay informed throughout the day by logging into their child’s account and seeing daily updates.

  • Is Little Foot Explorers license and insured?

Yes, Little Foot Explorers is licensed by Bright from the Start under Jenny Yallery-Conner as an in-home center. We are also insured for our nature and field trip program.
